Laura Crosta is an award-winning photographer and director specializing in lifestyle + environmental portrait campaigns, music photography, commercial films, and documentary storytelling.
I create images and films that tell stories, inspire thought, or simply make you look great. I thrive collaborating with teams of all sizes and provide art direction when needed, making the process smooth and enjoyable.
I thrive in fast-paced, challenging environments—adapting quickly, staying organized, and solving problems on any type of shoot. I partner with broadcast production companies to create campaigns and still libraries, or produce both still and broadcast work in-house through my company, Mashed Potatoes LLC.
My personal experience supporting patients with cancer and mental health challenges gives me a unique perspective and deep empathy that informs how I connect with people on set. Time on the road with musicians and assignments around the world—in Japan, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Hungary, Ghana, Cuba, and Chile, as well as 35 US states—has further refined my ability to tell stories and adapt to any environment.
Based between Brooklyn, NY, and Park City, Utah, I’m equally at home on set, in healthcare environments, on snow (avid skier), or in the water (PADI certified)—and I love every part of what I do.
